Congratulations to Georgina who passed her driving test on the 2nd May 2018! She passed her driving test at the Brislington Driving Test Centre! Her driving instructor was Vince! Vince said that the test nearly didn’t go ahead but it just went out later than planned! Georgina has spent a number of years on and off trying to get through the driving test and had tried numerous driving schools and instructors but couldn’t find one that worked for her. We are pleased to say though that she got on fine with Vince who was able to adapt his teaching method and skills to suit style of learning and on 2nd May proved that it can be done no matter how you got on before! Congratulations to Tom who passed his driving test on the 25th April 2018! He passed his driving test at the Brislington Driving Test Centre and passed first time! his driving instructor was Vince! Vince said that despite Tom doing a very unusual park when asked to do so, he still delivered a fantastic drive! Even the examiner remarked that he had never known a pupil to do what Tom did before but it didn’t affect the test in anyway! Congratulations to Terri Paisey who passed her driving test on the 20th April 2018! She passed her driving test first time and passed at the Brislington Driving Test Centre! Her driving instructor was Andy! Andy said that Terri was not at all happy about being collected at 7.20am on a cold and foggy morning but it was all worth it as she passed her driving test! The test route that Terri took, encircled the area that Terri lives in, only then to enter a car park for a forward park Manoeuvre and to be told off bu a pensioner that they shouldn’t be there so Terri’s examiner just advised that they would leave and they headed off to a garden centre to perform the manoeuvre which Andy said was executed perfectly! Congratulations to James Gregory who passed his driving test on the 16th March 2018! He passed his driving test at the Kingswood Driving Test Centre! His driving instructor was Andy! James’s test route took him through the notorious bend near Sally on the Barn. Fortunately, as with akl Andy’s pupils, James and Andy had already practised this route! James has a car at home on his driveway waiting to be fully insured prior to departing on new adventures! Congratulations to Roksana Boczar who passed her driving test on the 21st March 2018! She passed her driving test at the Kingswood Driving Test Centre! Her driving instructor was Andy! Andy said that Roksana was so stressed, He thinks they were both a little concerned that this would affect her driving performance. However it had the opposite effect and Roksana put her heart and soul into her drive! The Manoeuvre was a reverse bay park at the end of the test which was completed without fault and on the first attempt! The examiner complimented Roksana on a smooth and enjoyable drive and Andy said a comment that was well deserved. Once they were out of the car Andy was asked if she could give me a hug (Roksana, not the examiner!). Andy agreed, but hadn’t expected to receive 3 before finally returning home! Roksana has asked Andy to point out that in the photo she is indeed pregnant, and not fat! Andy is Wishing Roksana a safe life of driving, and a world full of contentment when her new bundle of joy arrives in the near future! Andy said that the test started off with a Bay park and for some reason, Michaela thought she had failed but fortunately remembered what Andy told her “I don’t care if you think you’ve failed, Drive like you’re going to pass!” The advice paid off as in reality there was no fault with the reverse! Congratulations to Ed Griffith who passed his driving test on the 12th March 2018! He passed his driving test at the Brislington Driving Test Centre! His driving instructor was Andy! Andy said that unusually, the traffic was very light and they arrived over 20 minutes early! This then gave Andy and Ed time to practice parking and the Show me/Tell me questions. The manoeuvre selected by the examiner was the reverse bay park, something which Andy later found out Ed was hoping not to get, but his concerns were unfounded. Ed returned home where his first take was to insure his new car which he purchased the day before his driving test! Congratulations to Grace Clarke who passed her driving test on the 20th February 2018! She passed hr driving test at the Brislington Driving Test Centre! Her driving instructor was Andy! Andy said that Grace left for her driving test and left him in the waiting room and this enabled Andy to witness a perfect reverse bay park 40mins later when Grace returned to the test centre Which was then quickly followed by a broad smile and thumbs up through the drivers window!
